I'm just here to say that I had barely gotten the "Sassy Tassle" song out of my brain yesterday (after watching a video from years back) and now it's right back in my head! Thanks, Margaret 🤪. Seriously though, you are one fierce lady. I've watched so many of your current and past videos these last few weeks and learning so much from you about everything as I'm starting out reselling jewelry. Also, thank you for being a sweet and candid human - I appreciate so many of the non-reselling aspects you bring to your videos. You are so appreciated.
Yea sassy tassel
Your support truly means the world to me! I'm so glad to hear that my videos have been helpful as you start your journey in reselling jewelry. Thank you for being such a wonderful part of this community!
Margaret, dragonflies sell well, too! Many of the earrings you are showing are from brands in demand. Perhaps you could show these same categories with unbranded earrings to see how they sold. 😊
I love dragonflies!!!
Agreed! 😊
That's a great idea!
Margaret, thank you so much! I LOVE selling earrings!
Margaret, you are the best! We were given a batch of jewelry this week so we're just starting out reselling. This information will really help. Thank you!
I'm so glad!
Agree that Spartina earrings listed too low. I have sold a few Spartina bangle hinged bracelets that I found in Goodwill boxes for around $28 each.
That's awesome!
I’ve just compiled the things I’m going to sell. Trying different categories to see what works best.
I know you shy away from large or breakable items, but I’ve been drawn to vintage dishes and vases from other countries. A video on what you’ve learned from selling these items would be great!! I love your channel!!
@@JRambo31 I have a huge collection of vases from other countries. They make beautiful vases in Italy and Scandinavia. I also enjoy Bohemian style glass vases
@@jeannestrickland7027 Yes! Italian, Greek and Japanese have been the ones I’m drawn to. And Boho everything! Since I’m just getting started, I’m only purchasing things I love in case they don’t sell. 😂 Not sure if that’s the right angle, but it’s my approach for now. Thank you for responding:)
Thank you so much for your kind words! I really appreciate your support and your suggestion for a video on vintage items!
Thank you for this one. I'm starting with jewelry after getting tired of doing clothing. I know about some brands but you show all sorts. Appreciate all your jewelry videos.
That's a great idea!
Thank you, Margaret, for all the information!
Girl, no you weren’t in high school in 89 😮 I thought I was older than you! I’m class of 96. You’re doing something right beautiful lady, you’re always glowing 🤗
I was! I was supposed to graduate in '92 ;)
Thank you for this video. I had been tossing all of my tassel earrings in the junk/ craft lots 😅
Wouldn't a hair straightener work?
@ well, most were really in good condition, I just didn’t know anyone would want them?
I sell vintage clip on beaded ear climbers pretty often. Just listed a bunch of sterling earrings... and a 1980s (?) sterling ear cuff with turquoise. We will see how that does. I am sure I had one like it as a kid (mine of course was tin and plastic LOL). Mostly I try to list my boring, "why did I pick this up" stuff first to get it out of the way and when I am eager to list... then save the fun stuff to list when I am not in the mood, because at least I am excited about the item. Either way, I find when you list jewelry there is ALWAYS a never ending supply to list. One goodwill box, and you have listings for a week... once you become an addict of the boxes you have a room full of "to be listed".
Thank you for sharing your experience! It's always inspiring to hear how others manage their listings. I hope your vintage earrings sell like hotcakes!
Something new to look for!
Thank you for the great info 💕
I'm glad it was helpful!
This video covered so many different kinds of earrings. What's left? Are there any that don't sell well? Perhaps you should do a video on earrings that are harder to sell
Yes please!
This was fun to watch! I'm listing an Avon bumblebee brooch, leaf brooch (vintage crown Trifari), sterling musical notes pendant, and sterling alligator/crocodile earrings right now. Picked these up (plus several vintage brooches, a couple of sterling chains, and 3 sterling/turquoise ring)s at an estate sale for $1-$2 each. As you said, they are easy to list, easy to photograph, easy to store, and easy to ship.
Wow! What a lucky score! ❤
Thank you for sharing your experience! I'm so glad you found the video helpful. Best of luck with your listings; I can’t wait to hear how they sell!
THANKS MARGARET love the info😊
I’m glad you found it helpful!
I love so much your videos.... thanks a lot
Thank you so much!
2:49 those cardinal earrings they don’t even say their Sterling silver I mean they’re pretty but $113 seems like a lot for a little novelty earring. I love it when you shock me surprise me.
been wanting to sell something online and these seem like I should try!Ty for the video
Have you done a video on how you organize all your very small inventory? I would love to see what you do.
I have!
I LOVE JEWELRY. MY JOB HUNTING JEWELRY. YARD SALES AND STATE SALES AND FLEA MARKET
Margaret, your best selling earring jewelry episode was great. I noticed most earrings sold were for pierced ears and wondered what is your selling experience with vintage clip-on earrings in these same categories. Do you find they sell as easily as pierced?
It seems to depend on the earrings
Thank you so much!!! 💝
I recently sold some Elizabeth Taylor for Avon earrings.
That's fantastic!
Great information
Tropical leaf = palm fronds or palm leaves?
Are the orange ones in bug area bats ?
I’m wondering if handmade sterling silver and Swarovski crystal earrings would sell well on eBay.
You could look through solds on those features and see 😊
You are wise to collect what you enjoy, but that approach may not always be profitable. I've been doing this for 40 years. I'm in my Twilight years now, and I have no idea what I'm going to do with all the things I " love".😂
😊🥰
I have this Kate Spade smart watch, it's beautiful... but I cannot for the life of me find a way to charge it. The watch isnt like a normal smart watch, its a hybrid smart watch, has anyone ever seen those?
I haven't
No sound
Thank you for this great information!
Are the orange ones in bug area bats ?
I'll double check
