As you can see, I did give a edit summaries for my removal of trivial and unreferenced material: here, here, and here. You can hardly accuse me of not explaining the removal of what you call "valid" material, when you, in two consecutive edits (here and here are doing the exact same thing. Calling these perceived analogues, spoofs, borrowings, and what not "cultural references" is overstating the case: they are perceived as such, and without any valid references they are original research. I let one of them stand: if indeed that line about docking pay is spoken in that episode, that's from Blazing Saddles, though it really needs a verification of some sort.
