@Zephyr-wav There's a theory about Kris in the ending: It dies in the process, and all the monsters leave wails until his death, especially Susy. This is due to a parallel between Chara(Player) and Kris over Frisk in the underground.
Fate is a fickle thing. To decide if things are meant to be or not, to decide an outcome that was determined from the start and meant to remain forever. Fate is a statement that way, and sometimes it says cruel things. Though our worlds came so close together, never would our paths cross. Two parallel lines, never fated to meet, and forced to only observe from afar as we wondered "Was it truly never meant to be?"
I SWEAR TO GOD! This song you make... Feels like a real scene.. I'm seeing them... I see the characters dancing.. as the start is a solo, the actual moment.. And... ...The duet makes me see that characters remembering about the past.. dancing maybe..with the imagination that permits the music recreate the complementary character apper on the main character"s mind... "How sweet.. this world can get..."
Honestly, I was kinda avoiding this song because I'm not a romance fan and I'm not particularly interested in hearing a sob story piano song. But this blew my expectations XD A 🔥waltz that, to me, sounds more comforting than tragic. Like feeling glad you don't have to pretend for someone else anymore. Your chords are great and there's a good, consistent rhythm! Sorry for the yap lol, I'm glad I watched this video and not the clickbaity ones like "check out my dark evil tune 😈" and it's 15 seconds long with no effort tdlr; great job, good luck with the algorithm!
the LABS soft piano waltz is an inevitability for any aspiring composer LOL ive probably written like 20 of these in my time😭really good stuff though!!! love the feelings it inspires
I hear the monotony of life before, the joy of the experience, but im missing the despair at the end. Something with deeper undertones similar to the intro, perhaps? The song could use another 20-30 seconds and then i would say it's a finished piece of art. Did you compose this on the keyboard? I'm glad this was recommended to me, keep up the hard work.
thank you for the note, im trying to improve with each piece, i drew these all in i dont know how to play piano unfortunately 😭 the ending was meant to be ambiguous ending on a weird dissonance, meant to represent that tension when you remember that maybe it was just all in your head.....
@@Zephyr-wav oh i hear that for sure, and you can still keep these last notes! As of rn it feels "too" abrupt. Get yourself an instrument!!! there are some things you can only learn with time just messing around.
This is my situation right now. I was taking a couple week long class and i met a really nice girl and i started talking to her cousin who was also in the class. He had the cutest smile and he was really funny. i was so close to asking him out because it kinda felt like he was giving me hints that he liked me. I ended up chickening out and then the class ended so i won't see him often anymore.
this is perfect. what is the chord progression for this? I want to improvise the melody myself with this chord progression, to see how such emotion is interpreted differently between 2 piano players :)
in the best way possible this sounds like a song that would come up in the saddest scene in undertale or deltarune
would be insane to make a soundtrack for those games
the piano used in this is the same one as the one in "My Castle Town" i think
@ ill have to look into that then

Underrated comment 😔
Wow, never seen a youtube recommendation call me out like that before, but here we are. Beautiful music, keep it up!

And the question left in the back of your mind, to think if you two were ever meant to be or not.
"some things feel so close to being perfect"
yes I can relate, I know exactly what that's like. Been feeling like that my whole life.
So beautiful it kinda hurts, but I can't stop listening
Sounds like the bad ending theme to a sad visual novel
now I kinda want someone to make a visual novel just to use this track as the sad ending theme 😂
@@Zephyr-wav I mean, it's probably not going to be a romance genre but I MIGHT try to make a visual novel one day.
OMG!! CAN YOU MAKE A PIANO TUTORIAL WITH SYNTHESIA??? 😭😭 I BEGGGG YOU!! THIS IS SO GOODDD
thank you 🙏 i might release sheet music if i find more people are interested :)
@Zephyr-wav YEP!!
this sounds like a really sad moment from Professor Layton
now I’m picturing Layton tipping his hat in silence as the screen fades to black
i can relate to the feeling...

Sounds great! I, personally, would recommend changing up the tempo during the composition so it feels more natural. Nonetheless, fantastic work! :)
